Portals don't usually host the 360 photo files themselves. The tour lives on its own hosting platform, and the property listing just gets a link. Check your feed first. Most estate agents upload listings through their property software (like Reapit, Alto, or Street), not directly into the portal. If that's you, put the tour link into your software. It will magically push it to the portals overnight.

How to add a 360 tour to Rightmove

Rightmove's process is straightforward, but it depends on how you upload:

  1. If you use an automatic feed, add the URL in your CRM software. Rightmove will pick it up on the next sync.
  2. If you do things manually in Rightmove Plus, open the property, head to the Media tab, find Additional media, click edit, and then add link.
  3. Paste in the secure tour URL, give it a quick caption like "360 Virtual Tour", and save.

A quick heads-up: Rightmove handles hosted 360 links differently than a standard YouTube video, usually opening the tour in a pop-up window. Don't panic if it looks different on the live listing.

How to add a 360 tour to Zoopla

If you upload listings manually via ZooplaPro, the process is just as simple. Open Manage listings, pick the right department, edit the property, and look for the Video / Virtual tours field. Paste the URL straight in.

Zoopla plays nicely with a few specific native video players, so how an independent 360 tour looks can depend on your specific feed setup. The golden rule? Ask your CRM provider exactly which field maps to the Zoopla virtual tour button, and always check the live listing.

Handing over the tour (for photographers)

You don't need the agent's Rightmove login. Just send them a quick email with exactly what they need:

  • The property address;
  • The full HTTPS tour link;
  • A polite reminder to drop it into their software's "virtual tour" field;
  • Your phone number in case their feed throws a tantrum.

Don't break the link

Publish once, hand over the link, and leave the URL alone. If you need to fix a spelling mistake or move a hotspot, Redfield360 lets you republish behind the scenes without changing the public address. Never give an agent a new link unless you absolutely have to.

The final check

  • Open the link in an incognito window before you send it.
  • Make sure the agency logo and address are right.
  • Click through the first few rooms on your phone.
  • Once the portal updates, check the actual Rightmove or Zoopla listing to make sure the button appeared.
